The MK Breakers are delighted to confirm the signing of 6\u20195\u201d British wing Kai Walker for the 2024\/25 season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Walker who hails from London, has NBL Division 1 experience with Solent Kestrels and Thames Valley Cavaliers, where he started last season before making the move to London Sharks. His best season coming in 2022-23 when he averaged 11.7 points and 7.6 rebounds a game for Solent in NBL1.<\/p>\n

A hard-working high energy player, Walker is excited to play with the Breakers this season; \u201cI\u2019m very happy to be joining the Breakers! Seeing the success over the last 2 years with back-to-back promotions for the senior team and also the success of the junior teams is amazing.<\/em><\/p>\n

The fans should expect hard work and a lot of energy from myself getting up and down the court doing my best to help the team win and improve every time on the court. I love to compete and have fun while playing.<\/em><\/p>\n

The overall culture at the Breakers made me interested in joining from the community level all the way to the senior level the family feeling and togetherness is something I am big on when it comes to basketball.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Breakers Head Coach Billy Beddow-Patel is excited to welcome Walker to the team; \u201cWe\u2019re really happy to have Kai join the team this season. He is a hard-working player with a great attitude and is a proven NBL Division 1 Player. I believe he will be a great addition to the team, and that he will be able to flourish in our system and community here at the Breakers.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Walker is the 6th signing of for the 2024\/25 season, joining Nate Robinson, Blayne Freckleton, Luke Gregory, Kai Williams and Jaguar Jackson. Stay tuned to our website and social media channels where we will be announcing 4 further signings this week, with one per day at 9am.<\/p>\n
