{"id":7199,"date":"2025-08-03T09:06:38","date_gmt":"2025-08-03T08:06:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mkbasketball.club\/?p=7199"},"modified":"2025-08-03T09:06:39","modified_gmt":"2025-08-03T08:06:39","slug":"ben-baker-is-a-breaker","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mkbasketball.club\/2025\/08\/03\/ben-baker-is-a-breaker\/","title":{"rendered":"Ben Baker is a Breaker"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Milton Keynes Breakers are delighted to announce the signing of British-American guard Ben Baker for the 2025\/26 season.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Born in Brighton, the 6\u2019 2\u201d guard moved to California at a young age and attended Seattle Pacific and Southern Nazarene Universities, where he showed strong play-making abilities as well as a love for the physical side of the game.<\/p>\n<p>A gritty defensive presence with an impressive nose for rebounding, Baker-McCann is a player we\u2019ve tracked for some time, and the new Breakers Head Coach was thrilled to help secure a deal that will bring him to Bletchley Leisure Centre.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt&#8217;s great that we&#8217;ve been able to pick up Ben for this year,\u201d<\/em> <span style=\"color: #ed1c24;\"><strong>Ben Stanley said.<\/strong><\/span> <em>\u201cThere was mutual interest last season and we jumped at the chance to complete that deal this year.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cBen brings us some physicality at the guard position as well as the ability to create for others with a solid basketball IQ.
